Michael Sergi

Specializations
Second Degree Black Belt

Michael Sergi has studied the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over two decades earning his black belt (first American) under UFC vet, ADCC Champion, and multiple time World and Pan American Champion Marcio "Pe De Pano" Cruz. Michael has competed in IBJJF tournaments since 2012 having won multiple gold medals to include Pan No-Gi Championship, American Nationals No-Gi Championship, and multiple Pro and Open competitions. Sergi serves as head instructor of Serg Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Fitness and is the first and only official association of Marcio Cruz.

Andrew Jones

Specializations
Third Degree Purple Belt

Andrew has just under 4-years of jiu jitsu training. With no background in grappling Andrew is a natural on the mat having participated and competed in many different sports outside of jiu jitsu. He's good at playing top and bottom yet his true gift is in articulating the basics to beginner and intermediate students. A true martial artist, Andrew is patient and encouraging to everyone that walks through our doors.

John Rodgers

Specializations
First Degree Black Belt

John has over 14-years of experience in practicing, teaching, and competing in jiu jitsu. Known for his excellent closed guard and open guard, John has an incredible ability to relay fundamental concepts of jiu jitsu by speaking to all belt and experience levels. He has competed in over 35 tournaments medaling in many IBJJF tournaments along the east coast.

Chase Johnson

Specializations
First Degree Brown Belt

Chase has nearly 10-years of wrestling experience between high school and college. A successful competitor having medaled in nearly every IBJJf tournament he's competed in. He is responsible for teaching most of our competitor's basic takedown skills for competition and self-defense. For as nice Chase is, he is equally tough on the mats. Chase realizes that by assisting our new students in improving that he's helping to build future training partners.

Jeremy McAbee

Specializations
First Degree Brown Belt

Jeremy is a 7 x IBJJF Open medalist and has teaching responsibilities in our Positional Basics class. A true student of the art Jeremy has a passion for learning and helping others with their progression and understanding of jiu jitsu techniques and positions. You'll recognize him on the podium at nearly every regional IBJJF Open tournament.
