Classes

Serg Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Fitness offers classes for beginners and experienced students. Our Fundamental classes have students that may be attending their first class learning alongside students with years of experience in a positive environment. Attention is placed on learning basic technique and self defense for new students and refinement for experienced students. No experience needed to attend and even advanced practitioners can progress. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is an excellent way to lose weight and stay in shape while learning the most effective form of self defense.

 
 

Positional Basics

Mondays, Wednesdays

Positional Basics a beginner-friendly class offered as a gi and no-gi class. This class is an exploration of the fundamental aspects of movements, positions, and techniques necessary to fast track your understanding of jiu jitsu.

Mixed Levels Fundamentals

Tuesdays, Thursdays
5:30 pm & 7:00 pm (No-Gi)

Fundamentals is our most popular class. You'll find students attending their first class learning alongside students with years of experience in a positive environment. Attention is placed on learning technique and positions articulated in a way to meet the needs of white belts through brown belts. An emphasis is placed on basic self-defense aspects for new students and refinement for experienced students. No experience needed to attend and even advanced practitioners can progress. New students will see improvement in cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular endurance, flexibility and coordination with consistent training.

No-Gi

Fridays

Positional Basics a beginner-friendly class offered as a gi and no-gi class. This class is an exploration of the fundamental aspects of movements, positions, and techniques necessary to fast track your understanding of jiu-jitsu.

Open Mat

Saturdays 10:30am


Open Mat class at Serg BJJ and Fitness is an experience. This class begins with a comprehensive warm-up of all jiu jitsu specific muscle groups led by a collegiate level strength and conditioning coach. Training consists of live sparring. Open Mat finishes with a cool-down to return the body to a resting state and reduce muscle soreness.
